Unfortunately, due to the Town Hall lift being taken out of use following safety concerns, the Full Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday 17th February has been postponed while an alternative accessible venue is arranged. Under the Equality Act 2010, public bodies must ensure disabled people can access services and public functions equally, and the Town Hall cannot meet this requirement while the lift is unavailable.
A revised agenda and summons will be published as soon as a new date and venue have been confirmed.
