Councillor leaves Camelford Town Council
Camelford Town Council learned of the resignation of Alan Crosby at their meeting on 2 April 2015. Mr Crosby has been a Councillor since July 2013, and has been involved in the recent expansion of the services being offered by the Council – in particular through the recruitment of a new General Maintenance Assistant. Mr Crosby has also been involved in work on Churchfield car park, the community allotments and Camelford skatepark.
Mr Crosby, who owns Atlantic Motor Services in Valley Truckle, leaves a vacancy on the Council which will be filled either by-election or co-option in the coming weeks.
Cllr Andy Shaw, Mayor of Camelford, said in response to the news “we were sorry to receive the resignation of Mr A Crosby from Camelford Town Council for personal reasons. He was an active member of the Council and his input will be missed. We wish him all the best for the future.”
