As part of our Centenary celebrations, CTC is organising dance workshops and copper leaf workshops. Details below. The dance will form part of the programme on 6 August in Enfield Park, which will follow closely the original programme in 1922. The souvenir programme and posters will be up around Town, in schools, and online from mid-July, so keep an eye out. Live music including Electric Bandits and Change the Letter (a former Friday night Live at the Bandstand participant) will be playing, as well as a Club Classics dance session with DJ Steve Fudge. In the afternoon, there will be a Tug of War competition for adults and children with fantastic prizes courtesy of St Austell Brewery and the Masons Arms. The bar will be provided by the Masons Arms. Food by New Hanger Management, Creme de la Crepe. Hair and Beauty Place providing festival hair, Henna by Janna.
If you would like to sign up for any of the workshops, it is not too late. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place. The leaves produced will be attached to a tree sculpture which will be placed just outside the Park, providing an art legacy for years to come.
