Neighbourhood Plan one step closer for Camelford
Neighbourhood Plans are part of Central Governments Localism programme and investigate zoning land for specific purposes for the next 15 years. An important element of this process is local input, usually achieved through a survey. The residents of Camelford Parish are about to find out the results of their community consultation survey, that has been carried out by PFA Research over the last few months on behalf of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group . Claire Hewlett, secretary of the group said ‘it’s taken a long time to get to this point but this is where it starts getting interesting. Now we have evidence, based on the responses of local people, to guide the next steps of the Plan.’
So if you care about the future of Camelford and want to be involved in this process, or you just want to know the results of the survey, please come along to Camelford Hall on Wednesday 7th October 7.30pm. There’s plenty of parking and you might even get a cup of tea!
