Breaking news! Our new Visit Camelford website, aimed at attracting visitors to the town has now launched. Our thanks to Pickle Design for this wonderful website, Daniel Kavanagh for the amazing drone footage and pictures, and all the businesses who have contributed. We hope to expand the advertising and develop the pages in due course. Have a look around
www.visitcamelford.co.uk
TAKE PART – Do you have a story to tell about Camelford?
We are looking for people to contribute a short story about their experience growing up, living, working, studying or visiting Camelford. The blog – “Our Camelford” will show the human/personal side to the Town, and give people looking to visit (or move here) a personal account of Camelford. It needs to be between 300 and 500 words. Interested? Email admin@camelford-tc.gov.uk or drop in your contribution to the Library/Town Hall FAO Amanda.

I have lived and worked in camelford my whole life, I went to school here, bought my first house here, built a house here And run my own business from here. Camelford runs through my veins. Camelford is full of massive opportunities and possibilities, there is nothing you can’t achieve here. What ever I’ve been through camelford has been by my side supporting me all the way. I have so many memories almost 40 years worth of growing up here.

First of all we need that bypass. Its crucial if you want people to visit! May i also ask how we can get signs to take people to Roughtor and the moor to go via the cheese factory and past Crowdy reservoir PLEASE as its getting manic in Tregoodwell which is only a tiny hamlet! The road just isnt wide enough for two cars to pass! Let alone campervans!!!
