The orchard was planted some 13 years ago with various types of apple and quince. Due to careful maintenance, pruning and investment in deer fences, the trees have thrived and are now producing enough fruit to pick.
The orchard can be accessed from the road to Lanteglos. There is no vehicular access into the orchard, but you can park in front of the gates (see picture below).
This area will be home to the Camelford Cemetery which has not yet opened as no demand. It asks for you to stick to the paths as some areas have recently been planted with wildflower plugs and are not established.
