As the vacancy occurs within six months before the day on which the councillor would have completed their term, an election will not be held under Section 89(1) of the Local Government Act 1972. CTC may choose to fill the vacancy by co-option for the period until that election. This Notice will be displayed on the two noticeboards in Town (by the Library/Town Hall and in the noticeboard by the Masons Arms).
