Following the resignation of Ayla Ackroyd-Johnson, a vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor at Camelford Town Council. With reference to the public notice published by CTC on 8 December 2022, Cornwall Council have confirmed that no requests were received asking that an election be held. Accordingly, it will therefore be necessary for CTC to fill the vacancy by co-option, as provided for by Rule 8 of the Local Elections (Parish and Communities) Rules 1986.
