Following the sad news of the death of HM the Queen, CTC is following national protocol and plans are in place. Below is a summary of what is being implemented.
There is a programme of raising and lowering the flag over the next few days.
There will be a proclamation, read out by the Mayor, Cllr Rob Rotchell, Sunday 11th September at 6pm at the Bandstand. All are welcome to attend.
The book of Condolence will be available in the foyer of the Town Hall/Library today from 10am until 4pm. It will then be available during opening hours. See the board outside for details, or the website.
The bandstand lights will be turned off.
Flowers can be left in the bandstand (no cellophane or plastic)
CTC is waiting to hear from local churches as to what services they will be providing.
